Former CEO for one of the largest and most internationally-acclaimed organizations within the fitness and sport industry, Brian has been profiled in esteemed media centers such as Newsweek, the New York Times, ESPN, ABC News, Men’s Health and Web MD.

He has lectured at private, governmental and academic intuitions worldwide, including Ireland, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Australia, New Zealand and 30+ cities within North America.

A former Performance Coach, Brian has trained more than 20,000 athletes worldwide including Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champions and professionals from various sports (NHL, CFL, NFL and MLB).  He is also the former Head Strength Coach to both the Canadian and United States National Synchronized Skating Teams.

A published poet, Brian wrote and co-produced the internationally celebrated classic short-film, “Life by Numbers” which will be showcased this coming autumn at the renowned Austin Film Festival.

He has authored 3 internationally sold books, worked as a model (including shoots with supermodel Bree Conden), competed in both boxing and mixed martial arts and worked as a bodyguard for ‘A List’ celebrities within the music and acting industry.

Retired at the age of 37, Brian founded “FTR Nation” (FTR = Freethinking Renegade).

Motivated by the phrase “Ignore the Rules, Inspire the Extraordinary Within”, Brian is intent on helping people understand that happiness, success and fulfillment can only be achieved when living a life based on finding one’s true purpose…. Something most go to their graves never having done.

Brian is currently earning a PhD in Theology, writing his next book “The Audacity of Success” and co-producing a documentary based on a non-profit venture with the government of Zambia entitled “The Audacity of Purpose”.
